Let's be honest. the fact @signal.org's official Linux app remains on XENIAL repos (no official Flatpak nor RPM), that is nine years old, makes me think they don't give a damn on Linux users. If they don't care about Linux, this would mean they would't care less for privacy, typical macOS posers.
