SPEED RACER. I haven't watched this since it came out and didn't remember anything about it. It's so fucking fun. I love it SO much. The editing is hilarious. I think it might be one of my favorite movies ever.

Frankenstein - visually stunning, as all of GDT's films are. I've never read the book so I can't speak on how it's been adapted, but I thought it was cool. Felt like Elizabeth the way all the anatomical stuff (and bugs!!) fascinated me

omg y'all I loved The Substance. It's so fucking disgusting and grotesque. Everything is so, SO gross. I squirmed so much. The ending had me cackling, it's so over the top. I LOVE body horror! Lots of fun!!!

Knightriders - what a picture. If ren fairs had knights jousting on motorcycles I'd want to go to them more. A bit too long for me, there's definitely parts that just drag on. But the fun parts are reeeally fun. Also has my favorite version of Merlin.

For it's 30th anniversary, I finally saw Ghost in the Shell. Pretty embarrassing that I'd only seen the live action version of something so deeply influential and iconic, but late is better than never ig. Very cool, gorgeous movie. Also super fascinating!!
