On 12/17, Reuters reported that the CFPB was running out of funds and was planning on layoffs. The Administration demanded that the Fed not fund CFPB until the central bank returns to profitability.

The attempts to dismantle the Consumer Financial Protections Bureau continue. On 12/6, @riseeconomy, @woodstockinstitute, and @justeconomy filed a lawsuit to challenge acting head of CFPB, Russell Vought, regarding attempts to close the CFPB.

🏠 WIN: HUD Drops CoC Program NOFO
HUD dropped the Continuum of Care Program Notice of Funding Opportunity 12/8 but still "reserved the right to issue yet another." The lawsuit over this was initiated by a coalition of non profits and local governments, inc. the National Low Income Housing Coalition.
