Last summer, we were gifted a high-quality reproduction of the Treaty of Peace and Friendship, 1760 by the St. Andrews Historical Society. We created an exhibit so that it could be accessed in context by all of Charlotte County. Check it out: charlottecountyarchives.omeka.net/exhibits/sho...
Enclosures are structures that protect archival materials from damage caused by environmental influences. In years gone by, this one was made for us by conservators at the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick. #ArchivesEnclosures #ACAHashtagParty

Big news from the Charlotte County Archives! Since September, we have been working to bring our materials online. Today, we made our first upload: the Norris family fonds! Through digitization, we hope that together the Archives and the public can rediscover the stories safely stored in our vault.

This and every Remembrance Day, we honour our pledge to never forget the sacrifices of those who served our nation in hostile times. We highlight the story of Anna Shepherd of Grand Manan, who is remembered through her scrapbook principally documenting her service as a nurse during World War One.
