Reader, traveller, animal lover, taker of no bullshit.
I curled up in bed with this book last night, expecting to get through a few chapters before nodding off. Instead, I didn’t put it down until well after midnight and the last page had been turned. A propulsive read. What should I follow this up with?!??

There are some days that just break you. Lately I’ve had several weeks worth of such days. I need a win from the universe for a change.

Are there any books you’ve tried to read several times without success? I’ve tried multiple times to get through Madame Bovary and always throw it down halfway in disgust at the titular character. Not sure why Wuthering Heights has me stuck, but I may be ready to give it another go. #booksky📚💙

Summer thunderstorm, early evening, laying in bed with my book and the fan on, windows open. Perhaps the most content I’ve felt all season. (Dreamy photo not my own)

Truly enjoying the book I am reading (Once Was Willem by M. R. Carey) but interested in picking up a book about cults or with a cult-y vibe next. Any recommendations? Image: Father Yod & The Source.📚💙#booksky

I am super disappointed in the cover art choice for the follow up to The Will of the Many, The Strength of the Few. Anyone know of alternative cover editions that will be available? I much prefer the minimalist gold columns vibe… 💙📚#booksky

Hey, Northeastern U.S. residents, have you seen this week’s forecast? *mood*

There’s a lot of terrible shit happening in the world right now. Find something that makes you laugh to combat the darkness. It’s juvenile, but tonight this sent me into fits of giggles. So for now, I send this in your general direction.

Just laying in bed, rubbing my cat’s toe beans. *bliss*

Been thinking about this book a lot today (can’t imagine why). I truly enjoyed this title when I read it years ago. Can anyone recommend similar books? #💙📚booksky

Currently on audiobook. I find it relaxing to listen to books as I prepare for bed. I will practice my samurai stance in my dreams.

Been thinking a lot today about one of my favorite historical fiction novels, ‘As Meat Loves Salt’. It takes place during the English Civil War and is a beautiful meditation on friendship, love and loyalty in dark political times. What are some of your favorite historical fiction books? 📚💙
