This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating a quieter kind of love. 💕

We see how patience, understanding, and steady support can make all the difference for children and families learning to navigate life after ABI. Love isn’t always loud; sometimes it’s simply being there, again and again.

After an acquired brain injury, progress isn’t linear.
And that’s okay.

Today’s win might be big, or it might be quiet.
Getting dressed. Speaking up. Taking a break when needed.

✨ What’s one small win you’ve had recently?
Share it below; your win matters, and your story might help someone else

It’s not about motivation or effort; it’s about limited energy and a brain that needs more time to recover. Pushing through can make things harder, not better. That’s why personalised rest, pacing, and realistic expectations matter. We help families and schools with compassion and practical support.

It’s Children’s Mental Health Week + living with an ABI can affect how a child feels, thinks, and copes day to day. Mental health challenges may show up as tiredness, frustration, anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed, often in ways that are invisible to others. Save this + share it with who might need it

Just like a pizza, support after an acquired brain injury is made up of many different parts. 🍕
Families don’t need one ingredient; they need the right mix, at the right time.

All built on compassion, integrity, and care, because no family should feel like something important is missing.

Today is World Epilepsy Day 💜

We support families with clear, accessible information, emotional and practical guidance, and help for schools to understand a child’s needs, so children are supported as whole individuals, not defined by seizures.

Some days, progress doesn’t look like milestones.
It looks like getting out of bed. Trying again. Laughing, even briefly.

If today feels heavy, this is your reminder: you’re doing better than you think, and you don’t have to do this alone.

Today is Time to Talk Day, a national day that encourages open conversations about mental health. It’s a reminder that talking, listening, and being heard can make a real difference. Today, start a conversation. Ask how someone’s really doing. Share how you’re feeling, even if it’s messy.

For many children, concentrating, remembering instructions, or coping with noise can drain their energy fast. What looks like disengagement is often their brain working overtime.
With understanding, rest breaks, and the right adjustments, children can manage their energy and feel more confident.

After my acquired brain injury, some things changed: how I think, how I feel + how I keep up with the world around me. Some days I’m tired + some days I feel like people don’t really get it. But my story is still mine. I’m more than my injury, and I’m learning how to shine in my own way.
