AOC is Lane Johnson here, right?

David Johnson was a 3rd rounder.

But at the same time you could say that one of the biggest edges is to spot the trend before anyone else and get that first mover advantage. The challenge is being right on what you ignore and what you move on!

I'd be curious to see how the list looks down to 6-7% but filtered for only 1st and 2nd round picks? Cos there's an element of "if you line up all the good players, someone has to be last"? It's defo a concern though - he doesn't seem like a super fast processor, his superpower is ball placement.

I feel like they should let guys like this go back to college if they haven't got their degree (or legitimately qualify for a masters). And they should be allowed to play almost all college sports. But they also aren't allowed to play in the sport they got drafted in.

About 36-40. Based on the last 4-5 years there's about 3 guys per year who feel like Hall of Famers, and I'm assuming about a 12 year career on average for a HoFer, maybe 15 for QBs.

One thing I've noticed is that would've been an all-time Stafford no look pass. Ferguson is absolutely blanketed by Woolen, so Stafford tries to create space by looking over to the right as he throws. He's moved LBs/safeties out of a throwing lane, not sure I've seen him try to get a CB to run away!

To the right!! You could maybe see "oh, DL to the left maybe over pursuing, there are blockers over there so did he reverse field?" But nope, he just went towards the 2 unblocked defenders and the one with leverage to get off a block to stop an outside run. Amazing play (which I wish he hadn't made)

"Someone fell over trying to field a punt" seems like the answer there.

My first two guesses would probably be Jeanty and Hampton just on the basis that if you have them you probably finished at the bottom in 2024.

I think it's far more likely that we'd trade multiple 1sts for a veteran. I think we will see that as an undervalued market (plus 1st round picks being overvalued).

Tbh for collegiate prospects the best metric is probably "age at which they were drafted + round in which they were drafted." If you are good enough young enough to be drafted early enough, you're probably good. But fantasy points is quite good, especially for QBs in big conferences.

Concussions.

Given when these requests come in, when can interviews happen? Can it be this week, or would it be after the Rams are eliminated?

And Harbaugh feels like a good fit for the Browns...

Are you able to do splits on ALY for Kyren Williams v Blake Corum runs? I figure as they both had a lot of carries there'd be some significance there and it'd be interesting to see whether there's a difference between RBs?

I look forward to Drake Maye's stats by the same age that Tyler Shough was drafted. I think he'll have played about 64 games.
December 29, 2025 at 4:29 PM
Given the strength of the field I think he'll go all out for #5. There's a big advantage to getting to potentially play GB or SF at home later in the playoffs rather than on the road.

We've been doing it for weeks, ever since we replaced our kicker. I'm not sure why we trust Mevis to kick FGs but not hit the landing zone on kickoffs.

Jamel Dean?
December 8, 2025 at 5:28 PM
Elway had 33 in his entire career. He had 2 in his first 2 seasons.
December 8, 2025 at 3:55 PM
Does stacked box rate adjust for offensive personnel? Or is this just a function of both teams playing 2+ TEs more than average, so facing more base defense and shallower Ss cos there's less speed on the field to? So a function of offensive personnel, rather than a comment on the rushing attack?

Has there been a more dominant loss this season than the Rams game?
December 2, 2025 at 3:57 PM
I had a question about Rams ST more generally. Assuming Karty was the sole problem on FGs/XPs, at what point would it make sense for the Rams to dress 2 kickers, one to do FGs and Karty to do kickoffs? Or at what point is it good to accept bad FGs/XPs for good kickoffs?
November 19, 2025 at 12:24 PM
And even Evans has been (potentially) partly crap - at least one of Karty's missed FGs was in part due to a crappy hold, not sure if any others have been. But it was also the best punt I've seen since Hekker.
