For the record I am in support of just-divorced ladies with fresh dye jobs cutting people off to correct the right name because it really does make your day worse to be called by a name attached to trauma!

You think deadnaming a trans person and a correction that makes you a little uncomfortable is bad? Go call the lady with a fresh dye job Mrs. Ex Husband's Name and see if you leave that conversation the way you entered it.
