You might remember me from Creative Latitude, Designers Who Blog, NO!SPEC, or Women Learn Thai. These days I’m hanging out in Devon with The Man, three Maine Coons and a crazy Staffy.

Unless noted, photos are my own.
They do :)

Gladiolus I believe?

“Byzantine Gladiolus are easy to grow, one of the most cold-hardy glads on the market. Plant in well-drained soil for best results”.

Indeed. I presently have over 100 (mostly cold hardy). I only need duplicates - all others have to eventually find homes.

I've only met one person local who is interested in increasing their selection of figs (I gave her six when she stopped by). They rest are sticking with Brown Turkey ...

Glad to hear that you have the all clear! I’ve had that call recently. It was a scary four days (thoughts going crazy). I just wish they’d explained upfront that it was about a lack of records (I moved from overseas) and not anything they saw.

Awk. Missing ‘there’s’. Here’s a closeup of the mad dog to make up for it.

I’m sometimes guilty of the offense (I’ve noticed in the past). Apologies. And I can’t for the life of me figure out why. It’s not hard. Just lazy? Ignoring the bells going off (because there are bells) that say it’s not right?

Oh yeah ... my neighbours have fig trees and I'm sorely tempted 😁

Good luck! I've found Perlite a must for soggy soil (I've killed more fig cuttings by overwatering than anything else).

Close enough 😁

Clever. Here’s to a creative Christmas for all 💓

I dislike having to decide what to have for lunch, so I make up a big pot of Scottish Whole Rolled Jumbo Oats, then all I have to do is reheat enough each time.

Additions: dob of butter, two fat dates (chopped), handful of roasted pumpkin seeds, cinnamon and nutmeg to taste, milk. Yum

Mooch - he is indeed!

I started calling him the StormBird because he's often standing outside in the rain, waiting for me.
