We also have a recipe of courgette-and-lemon jam, which tastes like pineapples 😂
I believe all these odd recipes have been elaborated by owners of "dachas" (small country houses), where they grow vegetables and often don't know what to do with the crops 😁 it's been kind of a laughing matter here

And they were annoyed because I became inconvenient. It was a hard lesson to learn – that you're valued only while you're useful.
