Freddy has been with me for 10 years. Not sure how old he was when he picked me. He has been a great companion and my buddy through thick and thin.
Stopped eating a few days ago. Lots of tests. Things looked good - GI issue? Then ultrasound. Tumors in abdomen. He passed same day. Totally 💔

Every year on Memorial Day, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.
France also gave us this land as American soil.
