Manufacturing investment doubled under Biden in 2023. It takes about 4 years for a factory to come on line. Manufacturing is up and the jobs will come in the next 2 years because of Biden. Particularly chips, because of the CHIPS Act.
That part is true. No groundbreaking due to Trump.

That was not the problem people had with Bush.
At that point, they thought it was an air accident, not terrorism.

It is what happened with his pre-existing personal hatred of Saddam that lead to the invasion we have problems with.

I am in awe of Machado.
Nobody has played Trump better.

I fear she is another Aung San Suu Kyi.

Private corporate insurance Advantage plans do abusive pre-approvals. People pay more for Standard Medicare to avoid the private insurance pre-approvals and limited providers. Oz is a spokesman for Advantage plans. The Advantage plans are why Medicare is in financial problems.
Prior Authorization Coming to Traditional Medicare Starting in 2026
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will implement prior authorization requirements for certain traditional fee-for-service Medicare services in six states starting next year.

Here is one outcome.
7 states are now under a test run to have a private AI company review standard Medicare services. The AI will determine which treatments will be refused. Then the AI company gets a cut of each denied treatment.

LOL
When my daughter was 15-18, my husband and I joked her name was Alex. I do not think she knows this.

She is now a moderate.

Why do the rich corp donate so much? For the ability to take more from the taxpayers/citizens through fees, higher costs, unregulated privatization, and gov contracts.

Biden did try to stop monopolies, but he did not visibly address privatization and profit gauging.
November 24, 2025 at 3:25 AM
The truth is always worse.
Trump is aspirational and works on convincing people or what is possible. He is a salesman.

The truth about the US economy is that Trump policies give cash to the investor class and change the rules to allow for more privatization and monopolies.

Correction: Milei’s was shortly after.

Melania actively promoted her meme coin in social media. “Investors” with early access had already bought shares before the announced opening. These shares were then dumped. So no, not a victim, a player.
November 24, 2025 at 3:13 AM
They leave the Trump’s as unwilling victims for obvious reasons.
However. It is the same company that did a pump and dump in Argentina BEFORE the pump and dump with the Trumps.
That corruption is one reason Milei was at risk for being ousted. Then US taxpayers bailed him out.

This is what can kill his support with anti-vaxxers.
Separating MAGA base support is all that really matters.

He also ran on decreasing environmental toxins but backed down on any EPA related issues. Environmental toxins was a huge reason why people voted towards him.
He needs to be hounded on this.

Weaken/abolish agencies that had regulatory power over Musk. Give contracts to Musk. Collect our data.

But it gets worse. Palantir was given the data across agencies to catch immigrants when Musk was on the outs. Musk was self-serving, but Palantir is weaponized surveillance state shit.

If you are on standard Medicare in 7 test states, your request for services is now going to be submitted to a private AI provider. That AI provider will get a cut of each service it denies you. (The worst of private insurance.)

It is not gone, it is embedded and we will be paying fees forever.
November 24, 2025 at 2:41 AM
OK, but did the Trump family actually lose anything?
Headline: Trump family loses billions of dollars!

NOT REALLY
They only lost if they lost money they invested.
November 24, 2025 at 2:33 AM
You can embellish and tell your daughter about the stupid girl who did this 60 years ago.
November 23, 2025 at 9:27 PM
I learned about palm life lines when I was about 5. I was more stupid than sociopath. Knowing I had no clue and was joking, I told another 5 year old girl her lifeline ended.

Her mother called my mother. I seriously had no idea she would take it seriously. I had older brothers, she was an only.

That particular group of homeless had some paranoia and other issues. Not a reason to be angry, but it is sad.

There were times donations (I do not remember from whom) had mold and had to be thrown out.

Those calling for procedures and process in advance have it right. And you are correct that they should be able to calculate food that will be unsold before expiration.
November 23, 2025 at 8:57 PM
This situation was a broken refrigeration unit.

I used to help at a feed the homeless food line. They frequently got leftover baked goods from Walmart until one of the homeless persons claimed they had gotten sick and threatened to or filed suit. That was the end of donations in our city.
