Our book is out today.
Pause, breathe, reclaim your mind, relationships and time.
(And listen to the three inspirational albums that inspired it).

In London to do something exciting.
I’ll tell you later.

Yes indeed. Let’s celebrate this tiny creature of joy.
If ever we needed a gorgeous, tiny Iron Age “long-shouted animal” for #FindsFriday, today is the day. One of a pair found at Snettisham, Norfolk, belonging to Boudica’s Iceni tribe, and possibly from a drinking horn. C.100-300 BC.
British Museum.

Roxy Music sort of a day. First and last. WHAT a story.

In a week of villainy you need your heroes. Last night with the irrepressible @tim-burgess.bsky.social at the @rncmlive.bsky.social. Inventive and uplifting and a banging, brassy, Bondy arrangement of Weirdo that’s still making me smile. (Plus Helen O’ Hara is pure class.)

High shenanigans at @liverpoolphil.bsky.social last night. Sparkly Stravinsky and then Pacho Flores on trumpet for the gorgeously groovy ‘Historias de Flores y Tangos’. Plus Mr Hindoyan doing the Domingo boogie at the front.
Technicolor in a long grey February

If you’re Christmas shopping for books.
⚠️ Pontypridd has been hit by devastating floods and our wonderful independent bookshop, Storyville Books, has seen much of its stock destroyed.

If you’re able to buy a book from them, this would go such a long way to help support them rebuild in the aftermath.

Storyville Books Bookshop UK
Nestled in the rolling hills of the South Wales valleys, we are the only independent bookshop in Pontypridd, selling new books and more.

Loved my visit to the Museum of Modern Electronic Music in Frankfurt. Disco and House ephemera - and religious icons including the Roland 808. #Museums #culture #frankfurt #roland808 #electronic music

Discovering that #TombTuesday is a thing and delighted by it. Exquisite ephemera.
#TombTuesday Cymru/Wales has some very special Neolithic tombs - few more special than the pair of portal dolmens standing in their original cairn at Dyffryn Ardudwy in Gwynedd

I've been visiting this site since I was a child & it never fails to awe & impress

Oh! Laurie. Visually alluring, occasionally endearing, meandering and much too long.
Ark by Laurie Anderson at Aviva Studios last night.
Wouldn’t have missed it though.
