At the advice of @crazystevied.bsky.social, I adjust that statement to THE PURRFECT place 😻😻

Omg thank you for finding it

(I swear all this is a complete agreement with your original comment. Yay point access buildings.)

When getting to more pedestrian structures (eg, a typical highway bridge), we typically rely on codes written not for that single structure. But the national code is still adopted by a state agency, maybe with adjustments. And the structure is still classified.

We DO design for terrorist attacks on bridges (sometimes). The decision yes/no, the size of attack, the allowable damages … these are all choices that must be made by the owner.

This makes me think about how most folks don’t realize owners set their risk tolerance for (eg) bridges or buildings. We COULD design for a building to stand after plane impact. It would cost a fortune and have no windows. What’s your choice?

Wth?? Actual post on some other site? For why?

1. Cancel Boeing Access
2. Cancel ped gates in Rainier Valley that will do nothing to reduce the danger of that corridor (hint: it’s the cars, not the trains).

When he wore white socks and the black shoes, I made clip-clop noises because he looked like a horse (complimentary).

I felt more it was goaltender interference (but of course what does that mean). Just seems if “push keeper into net” is a way to score, more folks would do it.

😂😂

Earlier non-call was infuriating. If that’s not interference I don’t know what is.

Aw it hurts worse if Wenny scores :(

We’re coming up on a major not dead day anniversary (first one) for my husband. Still debating how to mark it. A hike won’t be it for us but I love it for you!

Anyone know (or have guesses) on the play that caused the new injury? This one and Joey, I’m totally in the dark.

EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE IS DOWNTOWN. Ride the Downtown line from Downtown to Downtown, stopping in Downtown on the way. If you want, transfer to another line to a different Downtown!!

(Also optional, stop at University)

As an aside, if you’re unaware… foreign grad students subsidize the costs of US grad students as they pay full fare while US normally don’t. My experience was also that they stayed longer (this is good for the university).

The other day he just causally dropped in playing in the Olympics in 1984. Like what???? First I can’t believe he’s old enough to have done that and B, he was ONE TEAM removed from Miracle on Ice??

I loved the pedestrian mall when I lived in CVille. I knew nothing of urbanism at the time, drove all the time, but also loved my hours upon hours at the bars and shops (and ice rink) on that mall.
