Just finished Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch, which was a fun murder mystery/paranormal mix; now rereading The Will of the Many by James Islington before reading the sequel. Really enjoying it again, even though it's only been a year!

Always fun to discover good authors I haven't read yet! Only about 3 chapters in but love it so far.

Heavenly Tyrant by Xiran Jay Zhao, sequel to Iron Widow. Started a bit slow as the MC is in a very different circumstances than in the first book, but getting into it now!

Just started Heavenly Tyrant by Xiran Jay Zhao, the sequel to Iron Widow. Seems to have a different feel than Iron Widow due to circumstances of the main character at the start, hoping that changes though!

I've used LibraryThing for the last 3 years & now have a good habit of recording everything as I read, real easy to add new books. And I have a handy list of books I want to read when I'm in libraries or bookshops!

The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods, it was a gift & not my usual high fantasy type read but really enjoying it, intriguing story and well written.

I kind of like the muscles and snark women, but yes there are other things to celebrate in women too!

Snare is probably my favourite book ever, and love Palace! She's also written Polar City Blues and Polar City nightmare, long time ago now I think. Fun to read another one! Pretty sure there's at least one sequel coming.

Yes! Vaguely? Connected to Snare and Palace, and in the same universe as Polar City, so cool!!

Haze by Katharine Kerr, good book! Sci fi which kind of connects to her other scifi novels, loving finding the connections. My reading is very fragmented as I'm traveling, hope i get stuck into it more tomorrow.

Looks like some good ones there! I'm looking forward to reading The Strength of the few, by James Islington, want to reread The Will of the Many first. And lots of others on my TBR!

I'm on another older fantasy right now - Silverthorn, the 2nd in the Riftwar Saga by Raymond E Feist. Will go on to something more modern next though. But you should definitely carry on with Robin Hobb!!

Good to hear, thanks. I'll at least read the rest of the Riftwar Saga books, may come back to the rest later. So many books I want to read right now!
