I still have nightmares about our asshole boss arriving in the middle of rush hour and taking over the entire sandwich station to leisurely make himself lunch. Indie coffee shop, not starbucks, but you just reminded me of it. The worst!

I thought Warmth of Other Suns was a total page turner! I put it off for a long while because I was intimidated by the length but I was completely engrossed from beginning to end.

As a former Met guard, I can't help but fixate on the strike that occurred in June, during which guards and visitor services staff protested chronic understaffing and untenable working conditions. Maybe if that had been addressed, there would have been guards in the gallery that housed those jewels.

Recently she posted an instagram story of a photo she took of a flier advising New Yorkers on how to report ICE activity. Her comment under the photo: “Hall monitor culture.” She constantly needs to make a snide joke about people who are oppressed. I’m honestly surprised she had any friends to lose.

The season finales of the first and second seasons of Derry Girls really choked me up. Something about how they juxtaposed the horrors of current events with teen girls trying to be normal teen girls.. gah.
