“The emails are like a portal back to a lost Manhattan power scene.”

What? Wasn’t ~nostalgia~ everyone’s first reaction to the Epstein emails? No? Just the NYTimes?

The money is there for #SNAP. Trump is impeding court order to feed millions of people while continuing to pay for mass deportations.

Finished cutting the pieces for panel 2/4 of the “Piscola hunting squirrels at sunset” lamp. Here, a squirrel peeks out, wondering where his friend is. Well, his friend is dead—eaten, as depicted on panel 1/4. In the foreground, Piscola’s favorite red ball.

Panel 1/4 of “Piscola hunting squirrels at sunset” lamp is soldered and done!

Some people at the workshop felt sorry for the squirrel, but don’t worry—within the squirrel community he is widely despised. Hope that helps.

The New York Times is such trash. Now that we know it’s a white guy, they’re pushing this familiar narrative—lone wolf, great promise, unknown motive—and avoiding the relevant details: access to arms, involvement in white nationalism, and MAGA family.

Transatlantic crossing to Southampton. Sequestering myself at sea for 7 days on the Queen Mary 2 to get some writing done. And will spend some of this time with my sister!

Why aren’t any of these Vietnamese restaurants in Poughkeepsie called Phởkeepsie? I feel like it’s a real missed opportunity.
