It's my current favorite map in HamClock right now. I run it on my main hamshack computer and I access it from the web anywhere on my network. :)

They do fall down, but they put up probably 30-60 every week now. That's not including the competition - China, Bezos, and that horrible AST (a company in Texas) that plans on launching things as big as a tennis court. ast-science.com

Yep. That's them. They have arrived!

Wow, my photo is getting a lot of attention! PLEASE keep sharing it. I used to work with light pollution issues here, but gave up on it when I offended someone - and then things got worse and I quit the club I was with. Political reasons? Yes.

I do have a "cleaned" image of that, but this was so dramatic that I have shared this one more than the more processed image. This was over a year and probably 1,000 less Starlinks than the are now.

It is! I really miss building kits. I have built a couple receivers from Ramsey, but they quit the kit business.

Yep. I think the country is damaged and will take decades to recover. Sadly, I've lost a lot of friends and have found no new ones. Getting booted for 1st amendment from the astro club pushed me over the edge. Giving up on the dark skies of WI and moving back to cloudy WA next year.

I had to look him up closer. Don Kessler. He was even a flight controller for Skylab. 85 but still working on space junk problems. Here's is very "1990s appearing" web site. aquarid.physics.uwo.ca/kessler/iwp5...

Fun little radio. I had to look that up. Tempting at only $100 for the kit! I need to try QRP. I used to always run 100watts, but lately I'm no more than about 30 watts. CW/Digital. I rarely used SSB voice since I don't want to "talk" to people - and it's gotten worse.

It's nice with the junk processed out. I no longer take these since I was booted from the club I was with. (17 inch Planewave)
Why?
I was too Democrat and they didn't like a board member that said bad things on social media about their "president".

This was with PixInsight. I saw all the streaks and did a process without removing them. Just to see how bad it would look.

More than not, I’m wondering if I give up on my lifelong hobby of astronomy. Between this shit and light pollution I wonder if it’s worth it anymore. This is a 1 hour of exposures they I didn’t remove the junk. 😢

AT&T fiber speeds are great. Amazing how good the upload is. We got around 80-100 Mbs to the phone/computers now at average about 150-ish. A little bottleneck in our network, I'll have to mess around and see if I can speed that up a little.
No more $$ for Musk! 😀

Made money on selling WMT, but NVDA is a turd on my list still.

Sure is. Radio gives me an escape - especially when bounce a signal out of the US!

She would have been kicked out, but wish she fought back when he said she was a "terrible" reporter. I wish the journalists would grow some balls and tell him to fuck off.

There was a time years ago when I'd be setting up and polar aligning my scope. A satellite would pass my view "oh cool! I saw a close view of a satellite." Now I just cuss when I see several pass when aligning - and more to come.

...a guy who could become a trillionaire and probably no intent of doing anything good with his money. Bill Gates at least is trying to save people, environment and other things. I have basically zero respect for Musk - and I thought it was cool at the time when he launched his Tesla. Not now.
