So far my mom's biggest hangup with me being trans is that I was never a "girly" guy, and she feels bad that she didn't see any signs
Which in fairness, my idealized gender so far has been "the girl you can call 'dude'"

told my parents about me taking estrogen, i think it went pretty well all things considered
I knew they'd be cool about it, but they're afraid for me; they know I likely won't ever be comfortable being *me* here at home and told me that they want me to be happy, wherever or however that may be
