That's wild, tbh. I will say, Vegas is one of the few airports I've been given a rough time even going through precheck so that kinda tracks. I feel like they're a little extra there sometimes because of the nature of the town, you know?

For as much as you travel for magic, have you considered getting pre-check? It's really worthwhile

I had a graphic from a pretty reputable study saved at one point that showed that "through friends" used to be the most popular way people met and it accounted for ~26% of all relationships in the 90s and the updated poll in 2024 showed it accounts for something like ~10% of relationships now.

My match ups were UR Delver, 80 Yorion "Mirror" against McWinsauce, Tempo Doomsday, Post, and xJ Abzan taxes list, for reference. Card felt fine otp against delver but had otd, fine in the mirror, and good against Doomsday, but since it was the tempo build it felt slow otd against their delver draw.

One thing that surprised me was how much I felt Tamiyo wasn't great for me. It's a small sample size ofc and it could have been match up dependent. I'm curious how you've felt about the card in this shell.

I played some main deck consigns that were pretty nice and I know in one of my drafts I had a different creature configuration that included like one Uro. Sideboard was mostly the same but having the room that consigns in the main opened up let me have some extra sideboard space.

As an additional data point, I played ~70/75 in a league the other day and got (rightfully) crushed by post but otherwise all my match ups felt good and the deck played really well.

Not even talking about Forge is *wild* to me. Deck won EW NA twice in a row and got two years worth of answers to the best and most common hate for the deck. Zero sentences about it at all.

It's also hate that's so specialized, which is doubly frustrating. Acknowledging my bias, I do genuinely believe that banning forge and reanimator cards would have made Nadu significantly less well-positioned and creature removal/hate is way more ubiquitous and easy to play. Wild change

I think the big issue with pointing more hate at forge is that people already play their wastelands, meltdowns, consigns, and null rods and it's still clearly not enough. The deck got far too much access to answers to rod and wasteland the past two years

Vintage, Pioneer: No Changes

Standard: Cauldron, Proft's, Into the Floodmaw

Modern: nothing mid-season. Maybe changes early next year.

Legacy: Tamiyo, the One Ring, Reanimate, Nadu (even though I don't really think the decks are too good), and I think Oops will be on a watch list as well
