A new year, a new media list to maintain! Like last year this will be to keep track of the games I play as well as TV if I ever remember cause I sure didn't last year but you can assume it was and will be a lot of One Piece.
Did another run of RE4, managed to cut it down from 12:39. I'm about 50 over the S rank time so I'm sure at some point I'll do another run

4) RE4 Remake: A top notch game, so good that there's 2 separate, equally great versions. I do have some minor things like some enemy attacks feel like they deal a little too much damage, I'm also not fond of durability on the knife/body armour as well as having to craft ammo.

FF7 Remake on Switch 2 is mighty impressive, going off the demo, seems like it's pretty on par with the PS4/Pro. Now I just have to resist the temptation to buy it and replay it again.

Nintendo Direct wasn't personally too interesting outside of the Pragmata demo drop and the look at the Resident Evil amiibo. Although Valheim looked interesting, I've never really seen gameplay of it before. Indy Jones being on cart is great too but it's a shame Elder Scrolls/Fallout are codes

Pragmata demo is pretty fun, combats solid but basic so the little hacking minigame that you have to do actually really does a lot to make it interesting for me. I'm looking forward to that one now.

if I had three wishes from a genie I'd wish for TV Burp to be released with no edits, so that I wouldn't have to rely on YouTube uploads.

37) Thank Goodness You're Here! Utterly bizarre, could not explain half of the jokes as they are both weird and plentiful, I have no doubt I probably missed about 100 background jokes alone.

I think if I do another media list thing next year I'll try not to score them cause I feel like I default to a 7 usually, hopefully I can describe my thoughts well enough that you can pick up my impressions

34) Yakuza Kiwami, frankly a pretty average game with annoying boss fights and one of the combat styles is levelled up through a different methods and a lot of the skills are locked behind being S++ on this other system, including a fairly useful Kiwami move which stops certain bosses

I really don't like the controls of Metroid Prime 2, goes to show how much Prime Remastered did to make me like that game, for now I guess I just keep waiting for 2 & 3 to be remastered and not just ported either.

33) Ace Attorney Investigations: I really enjoyed this one, it was fun to play as Edgeworth and being able to run around during the investigations is so much better. The cases and characters are all really good and I enjoyed the few cameos from certain characters.

I find myself wanting the next Zelda to go back to a WW style sailing type thing, could be a lot of fun to have a spiritual successor of sorts

31) The Wind Waker: Not really my top Zelda, sailings a little too slow, the dungeons go from simple to a little tedious with the command melody stuff. However I do like the designs for a lot of stuff in this game along with the music and art style.

getting a little excited about that Zelda film, I really hope it's a totally original story though

30) Halo 3: This one did used to be my favourite Halo but recent playthoughs have started to drag it down for me, the gameplays as strong as ever but it's really hampered by the awful sections where 2 characters will slow you down to talk meaningless shite.

29) Halo 3: ODST, decided to do this one on Wed night and I really forget just how strong this game is, it's nice to play as an ODST although you do still feel pretty superhuman and while I did a playlist that cuts this part out it's also very cool to do a little bit of exploring

25) CoD Ghosts: Fancied a shooter after several MGS games, haven't replayed Ghosts and I see why. It's pretty average, no standout moments aside from some brief space sections which were neat. It also ends on a cliffhanger that I'm sure they'll follow up on soon, only been 12 years after all.

24) MGS4: A fantastic game throughout all aspects, finally being able to crouch walk, move and shoot are godsends for making the gameplay much smoother. The final boss fight is so well done. It's a shame this is stuck on PS3 as it could do with having a framerate boost.

22) MGS3: Best way to describe this one is that I'm a little mixed on this game. Additions like the camouflage, food & cure systems are interesting ways to change the gameplay up, but food doesn't seem to give you health even rations don't when they did in the prior 2 games.

21) MGS 2: A massive step up from the first MGS, from graphics to the gameplay. It's wild to think this one was only 3 years later. First person aiming is a godsend but there's still no crouch walk and the sword controls are quite crap.
