Turkey and potato croquettes sound amazing. Perhaps I will make some with the leftovers ham and cheese since my Turkey is all used up now!

My reaction to this was visceral and immediate. Well done art!

Same here! I just don't experience an aversion to French knots. This was my first attempt to use them and I could have gone on forever. :) Now all I want is an excuse.

Thank you! I look forward to seeing your future work as well :)

Love all of these as the kinky wife of a trans man. I also do a lot of fiber art.

This is gorgeous, all those French knots! Is there padding under the stitches on the tiger?

I'd call it theoretically a duck, but it's certianly wearing convincing duck's garb now <3

No worries! I appreciate someone trying to help as I hate using work unatributed or without permission. Most of the old Alice illustrations are out of copyright and fair game. However, it's for my personal use and altered too...so meh

This is the last piece I finished from Tenniel

I do a lot of his illustrations and have lists with names and dates, but I just haven't found evidence of him doing this one yet. It's for sure in the same style

Thank you!

I'm struggling to find a version of the jaberwock that will translate well into embroidering and I may end up drawing one from the source art available. I would like to feature at least part of the poem in that one.

Thank you! I am going to be doing both the more "mainstream" characters and the obscure "from the book" scenes. I anticipate 18-20 total scenes, many of which, though not all, based on the Tenniel artwork.
