It is. Especially when the M and F versions of words are so different. I don't know if this is still current usage, but "c'est très chouette" means "that's really cool" 😎 (at least it did years ago when I was still in school 😂)

This is one of my favourite things about learning languages. It never ends. There's always something new to learn and discover. Besides, language isn't static, it's constantly evolving.
