Lemon cake poppyseed cookies
Decided that because this first batch came out flat (edges nice crisp and center still soft)(yet oh so freakin yummy), I put the dough after rolling them into little balls, into a Ziploc bag and back in the fridge to chill for now. Probably get up early to make them and just run on lil sleep today.

I know what you may think... But it's not.
These are NOT burnt. It's the dark cocoa powder. Even the dough itself is dark. But made me giggle when I pulled them from the oven. But then I thought, people could use dark cocoa powder to make "coal" cookies for Xmas time lol

Coworker wanted me to make cinnamon rolls for her class. So the prep work and they will be baked early morning so they are fresh when bringing them to her. So finished product will have pictures in the morning before work lol.

I forget how it came about when thinking of her name when I got her from the humane society. Her original name was aloha, but I wanted to name her something different. She got her vaccinations yesterday and she's just been so cute and sleepy.
