1989 Nov 16: Discovered by K. B. Aarseth (Norway) and H. J. Brewington (USA) at 8.5 mag. Prediscovery images of Sep 1. The comet passed perihelion on Dec 27 and reached 3 mag. It was last finally seen on 1990 Jan 31.

1956 Nov 8: Discovered by S. J. V. Arend & G. Roland (Belgium) at 10 mag. Predisc of Nov 7 from Japan. The comet reached 1 mag around perihelion (1957 Apr 8 at 0.32 au). Max tail 30° and 15° sunward tail! Last seen on Apr 11.

2018 Nov 7: Disc by D. E. Machholz (visual), S. Fujikawa & M. Iwamoto (Japan) at 10 mag. It's the last visual comet discovery! Perihelion on Dec 3 at 0.39 au w/ 7-8 mag. Last seen on Dec 17, possibly disintegrated.

1851 Oct 22: Discovered by T. J. C. A. Brorsen (Czechia) at 4 mag with a "brilliant tail" longer than 1° and a small anti-tail. The comet was past perihelion (Oct 1 at 0.14 au) and faded afterwards. It was last detected on Nov 21.

Podle legendy Navahů, je Átse A ts’oosí (Orion) lovec, který napíná luk, připravený vystřelit šíp. Symbolizuje ochranu. Stojí před dětmi (Dilyéhé - Plejády), a chrání je. Jako by věděl, že i děti tady na zemi (Američané) skutečně potřebují ochranu před zlým - oranžovým - duchem.

2004 Aug 27: Discovered visually by D. E. Machholz (USA) at 11 mag. The comet reached a maximum magnitude of 3-4 mag shortly before perihelion which occurred on 2005 Jan 24 at 1.21 au. It was last seen on 2006 Sep 9.

1879 Aug 21: Disc by A. Palisa (Croatia) at 7.5 mag. The comet brightened towards perihelion on Oct 5 at 0.99 au. It was last seen on Oct 22.

The comet was NOT found by J. Palisa as it is written almost everywhere, it was his brother!

1987 Aug 11: Discovered by comet hunter W. A. Bradfield (Australia) at 9 mag. It reached 5 mag around perihelion (Nov 7 at 0.87 au) and showed a short tail of a few degrees. Last seen on 1988 Apr 13. My first visual comet!

1946 Aug 6: Discovered by A. F. A. L. Jones (New Zealand) at 9 mag during variable star observing. It passed perihelion on Oct 26 at 1.14 au and reached 7 mag. It was last seen on 1948 Nov 23. The comet has a period of about 600 years.

Průměrná roční teplota v ČR překonala hranici:
+8 °C v roce 1983*
+9 °C v roce 2000
+10 °C v roce 2024

Od roku 1961 stoupla průměrná roční teplota ČR o +2,3 °C.

*V letech 1967 & 1975 dosáhla průměrná roční teplota ČR přesně 8 °C.
