I'm here on a spouse visa, for which we already had to prove my spouse could support me. And I may need to be a carer for them rather than working full time. And if that does happen, I'd basically be ineligible for ILR under the new rules if a minimum income is put into place 🙃

It is unfair at best to change the rules from 5 to 10 years for people who were already here on the road to ILR through various means, including removing the 10 year option for living in the UK.

Items I think should specifically be brought up: The new rules are going to impact women disproportionately as they take on care roles that are not being seen as a "valuable contribution" by the UK government.
Steps need to be taken for this to not be discriminatory to those with special needs, too

But it does simultaneously bring joy and amusement. It could be argued many actions affect humanity both positively and negatively, after all
