Brooklyn’s KCBC posted an AI reel on IG today, swiftly prompting an onslaught of negative comments ranging from basic to brutal.
They deleted the post after about an hour and replaced it with a real life version of the AI video. It noted, “You spoke, we listened ❤️”.

Sales of cask Bass have grown nearly 20% this year, and its now sold in over 1000 outlets as opposed to 400 12 months ago. Landlord is #1 by value. Boddington's was relaunched. Other breweries I speak to are in cask growth: Theakston, Thornbridge, Abbeydale, Siren, Five points...

Bummed to see B. Cafe closed back in October. I always thought of it as an important part of the UES beer scene. Even after they got rid of the map at the bar.

Thanks for all the tips. Two other questions. 1. Is the Beer and Oktoberfest a total waste? I’m drawn in by the drinkware collection. 2. What’s a good bottle shop, particularly one that might have Franconian beer? I already have Die Bierothek on my radar.

Cruz Del Sur in Brooklyn just announced they’re closing. It was the only place in NYC I knew of that sold a torta ahogada. Any other spots ppl know of?
