Volunteers in Kirkland have a new tool that attaches to the back of an e-bike. It's good for protected bike lanes, sidewalks, and narrow trails.

Unionized Starbucks employees are on strike today, demanding a labor contract with the company to include higher pay and more staffing. Today's nationwide strike coincides with the popular Red Cup Day. A Starbucks spokesperson told me these workers represent a small percentage of the company.

Happening now: Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell is leading a Mariners rally at City Hall ahead of Game 4 of the ALCS tonight.

Harrell has declared October 16th "Humpy Day" in honor of the popular salmon mascot.

Mariners win 7-4. They take the series over Tampa Bay and win their 6th game in a row. Now 65-53 and only half game back from leading their division. Julio sent two over the fence and the home run derby champ hit #44. Final game of the series and homestand tomorrow at 1:10.
