When are we going to stop thinking it's clever to start an article by asking some AI chat bot what it thinks? Didn't that run it's course at least two years ago?

Haven't posted on here yet but feel compelled to say something that's been bothering me for years (and came up again after going to her cinema last night) - what's up with movies? Do directors not know how to edit anymore? Is this just me getting old or a real thing?
