We were delighted to welcome Nick and Tom from Agratas today, who visited as judges for this year’s Environmental and Sustainability Award for the Somerset Business Awards with @somersetchamber.bsky.social . They met volunteers and our partners at @somersetcouncil.bsky.social Waste Services.

We are very pleased to be shortlisted for the Somerset Chamber of Commerce 2026 Somerset Business Awards in the Environmental and Sustainability category sponsored by Agratas.

Next year we will have been inspiring people to care for the environment for 30 years.

A beautiful song thrush has been singing at Carymoor this week. Unfortunately it has been elusive to the camera. However, volunteer Adrian managed to catch this Kestral waiting patiently for lunch to pass by beneath and our friendly robin posing between the hawthorn berries.

We hosted a Wildflower Information Day for members of South Somerset Environmental Forum, in partnership with Somerset Wildlife Trust to show how we established & manage our meadows. They helped us plant 1,000s of wildflower seeds donated by @bumblebeetrust.bsky.social to support pollinators.
