Training folks to win transportation changes like bus lanes, bike lanes, & car-free plazas. Author of "If you want to win, you've got to fight: a guide to effective transportation advocacy" https://islandpress.org/books/if-you-want-win-youve-got-fight#desc
You don't have to be a certain sort of person to help win change. It takes all types. Find allies and work together and you'll win bigger together.

Ch. 4&5 of If You Want To Win, You've Got To Fight has guidance on how to do that

Much like how if you're doing transit advocacy in a big city, it's extremely helpful if someone in your crew speaks Spanish so you can engage with a large chunk of the community. That doesn't have to be YOU though.

There are lots of roles needed to win the change you want. It's all helpful

*when it comes to political organizing, Jevons paradox seems to be, at least for me, extremely real.
