My husband, Peter, is a member of El Charco Botanical Garden and they had a special open house and showed us "the vault" where they are identifying new plant species and preserving seeds. Very cool!

After a great morning of writing (I wrote 4200 words!) Peter and I went out for a calzone on a rooftop. In the evening, I stumbled into a quinceañera who was kind enough to let me take her picture. Just a perfect day!
