I'm guessing he's pulling off a great number of actions that a significant portion of his voters did not expect.
And for the record, the US does not and has never had a "democracy". It's a representative republic, and the representatives, or at least the Speaker, is willing to cede representation.

Well that's unfortunate, and a kinda silly presumption, donchathink?
It was my understanding that texts were considered higher priority messaging than calls or emails, due to their brevity. I don't see how promptness corresponds to promiscuity at all. But then, much of society now baffles me. Thnx!

Serious question from an oldster who doesn't own a smart phone & subsequently, doesn't text.
In contemporary mores, is one expected to respond to a text message immediately? Moreso than an email or phone call? (or telegram, semaphore or smoke-signal, in my era)
Seems more cumbersome than a call.
