87. Petit Eva: Evangelion @ Game

Adding this to the list retroactively, as I'd forgotten I'd even played and beaten it. (Bad sign, huh.)

I liked the Gendo minigame, but liked the littlest Rei clone/sister best, I think?

Not a fan per se, but glad to have this AU under my belt.

86. The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse

My neighbor gifted this to me some time ago, and I finally read it when feeling at the right amount of peace this morning.

Each page could be cropped and used as its own Hallmark card--the whispy illustrations and inks are lovely.

I adored the mole!

85. Neon Genesis Evangelion: Ayanami Raising Project

Raising sims are a neat concept to me, but even one as short as this just didn't seem to show off any cracks for the game to open up through. I got the fast food worker ending, and my hyper casual self can be happy with that.

84b.

The second this movie started, it reminded me of the Ender's Game book where I'm sure it would be 10x better if narration/exposition was cut or written to have less tooth. It makes the narrator's perspective feel dishonest and synthetic.

84. Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight

I'm aware a book existed, and I'd expected a one-sided take, but autobiographical works and adaptations therein get real old and hard to immerse oneself with when the child giving the perspective is essentially the exact same kid in every war bench film ever.

83. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

A rewatch. Great ost that tethers the social setting to the beautiful landscapes. It has one of my favorite endings in a film. I do get why others hate this one, but the plot flows perfectly within its own chasm. (Hard to nail so well with such a large cast.)

Thanks--I've had some time to rest up, but my hand is pretty borked right on time for when I artist alley and draw commissions a whole weekend long lmao

Maaaybe. I can stand and walk and such, but I'll be in Defense Position for the next few turns.
