I love when characters rely on each other so much (+ it would work wonders for my boys to do that in this AU since both of them are WoLs and it makes sense to shoulder things for one when the other one can't)

The WoL starts as an unexpected ace, a blunt weapon then sharpened to a fine point over the expacs, believed in to the same degree that a primal would, despite being mortal. A weapon, once forged, believed not to require maintenance until the point that it breaks… I think about this a lot 🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️

I just. it’s not JUST about the WoL hurting. It’s also about how they aren’t allowed to hurt, because being hurt means that someone else has to be the wall in their stead. And regardless of their belief in themselves to be able to hold the line, it’ll never be as strong as the WoL is
