Happy Thanksgiving to all. Grateful to have everyone in my life and I'm so happy to have friends with me to this day. It's an interesting thanksgiving for me this year without my dad but I know he's happy knowing we're celebrating being together with friends and family. Happy to be alive

Idk why but the past couple days were depressing for me and I couldn't get negative thoughts out of my head but I'm slowly getting better. It's an opportunity to go on this nice business trip but I'm gonna feel slightly lonely heh. But hopefully I'll be able to entertain myself there

Within a month at the new job I've made vast improvements by ensuring best practices for documentation and creating templates and ensuring we are compliant and ready for audit at year end and got hella praise, even from the CEO! Time to treat myself tonight 🥰

To add to this: networking is important especially if you need references for future jobs or if something happens. It's why I still stay in touch with former coworkers/good bosses. Getting scolded for this kinda put me in a shit mood this week, amongst other things.
I respect ppl's opinions but I'm annoyed when called by my friends a moron/stupid about leaving my job on a good note. I could care less about my boss and so on, but why punish my co-workers that worked beside me, a team that sticks up for each other and being a team player. It's a bit upsetting.
