It actually makes sense that they would depreciate POP first before IMAP. POP at least removed the email from the remote server after fetching. Something Google would definitely NOT want if the goal is to train their AI on your emails stored on their servers.

Network gremlins

I absolutely love being able to use a custom domain on my handle. Domain-validated handles is something I didn't realize I wanted or needed until today.

I know it's still in beta and stuff but Blue Sky #IPv6 when?

Gonna give this a shot. Still gonna keep my Mastodon account and maintain the instance as I've always done but nice to have options.
