Played two games of Necromunda today as a part of the campaign being run by our local store. Was lucky with some rolls and managed to win both. Was a lot of fun!

A game of Oak and Iron today, was good fun. I was lucky woth my rolls and had a few powerful combinations. One ship sunk, and I met the objectives with little my opponent could do to respond.

At the doctors and the TV is playing a children's show where they go in a time machine to the 1980s.

If I wasn't in a state previously I am now.

Started painting miniatures again after a friend asked me to play in a Necromunda campaign he was planning. It's been a while since I've picked up the paint brush, but I thought it might be a fun diversion from the study I was doing this year, and it has been.

5th rate painted. Pretty happy with how these are coming out.

First game of a Necromunda campaign today. My Nomads didn't have a lot of luck, and a bad bottle roll really made it hard for me to claim my objectives. Was fun though!

Learning game of Oak and Iron today. Took a little while, but we checked the rules quite a bit and stopped to talk to other people more than a bit. Was good fun. I was worried I wouldn’t enjoy it, but it looks like I’ll finish painting my ships!

I like using my GM screen to conceal my lack of preparedness.

*leafing through a blank ream of paper chuckling*

"Ahh, yes, curiosity got the better of you hey... you had to open THAT door..."

Played 7 Wonders Dice the other day. Solid fun. Simple enough rules, and enough variation to make it enjoyable on repeat plays. Good game.

The last ship to be finished from the Oak and Iron base set is painted and done. This one is the Light Galleon.

I just realised I've been running Corsairs (my game of sky ships and floating islands) for a year. In that time the characters have had run ins with the Alderil Empire, escaped and made it to freedom, raided enemy traders, avoided Empire patrols...

Ran a game of Corsairs (my game of sky ships and floating islands) for my local group again tonight. In the last few sessions they sought refuge at a floating island shrouded by rumour and danger to refit and repair and encountered the very reason the island is off the trade routes.

My latest painted ship for Oak and Iron… the Fluyt. Done!

Played a game of Necromunda today. It was good fun, and I was pleased to get my Ash Waste Nomads models on the table.

Some.more ships painted for Oak and Iron. These took a little long as they are a bit fiddly, but I think they came up well. A brigantine and a corvette...

My first painted Oak and Iron ship... A sloop.

Might be time to paint some ships...

Reading through the Oak and Iron rules. I have a hankering to play an age of sail war game, and this one has sat on my shelf for too long.

Finally finished my final assessment task for my advanced gymnastics coaching course, 8.5k words on 4 different skills om 4 different apparatus. It. Has. Been. A. Lot.

So glad to have this done; this is the last of series of big assessments I have done this year. Thrilled to have hit submit.
