Years of modding this game and today is the first time I see a mod where decals were applied to a model USING THE ACTUAL GAME'S DECAL SYSTEM.
Is it because they couldn't figure it otherwise since it's (probably) a VRC model that someone else made with multiple uv unwraps? Most likely but still!

Where I'd like to see it go: multiple restrained services and servers able to connect between themselves (which current services have already refused), sync at a smaller scale (individual or size-limited shells), allow people to self-host personal servers (or p2p) for low numbers of trusted pairs.

The main issue is that current service providers are XIV community personalities first and foremost (with what that entails), developers second.

- The plugin scene runs entirely on trust. You're executing foreign code on your machine. Double so for sync services. A good service should never break trust, while running and moderating as transparently as possible.
Any current service breaks at least 1 of these 3 bullet points; no-go for me.

- Massification of syncshells is an issue (SummerBash...). With Mare going down, they should've scaled down. Instead services implemented their own shell area host/broadcast/share. These new devs are ignorant or willfully disregarding (see prev post) the danger line SE traced by skipping rope on it.
