Also, proud of myself for not just immediately re-reading The Hobbit as my first read on this.

I started Skies of Arcadia, finding all the discoveries on my AYN Thor has been handy with a guide up on the second screen, but what the hell is up with this random encounter rate?
(I finished Trails From Azure as well. That's a hell of a video game.)

I knew I was getting into a hell of a thing with this, but I still don't think I expected how much of a home Liberl has become for me over the past few months.
I'm legit going to miss this place as I move on to the next game.

Started Chains of Promathia last night while watching the Last Drive-In Christmas Special, and...these two are going to be a *problem*, aren't they?

I tell people I haven't had a drink in over 2 months and I get a certain look that I *absolutely* get.
It's kinda nice being clear headed though, I don't even miss it.
The coffee helps.

Well, that was a total step up from the original base campaign. It felt great to go into some of the ancient lore of Vana'diel, and to explore some truly visually stunning zones.
Eald'narche was a satisfying villain, with a genuinely great reveal.

I didn't end up sleeping until 5am.
Right when I got the third lantern lit, some rando ran through the door from the other side and I just dashed through before it shut.
Felt like victory.

Luckily, my office manager is keeping me motivated.

I'm sure it would have done great 10-15 years ago, but I don't think the needle can be moved from manga at this point.
That being said, I really should have gotten Batman: Hush too.
