This was a Senate leadership deal with a structured roll call. The real question is if Sen. Duckworth still supports Senate leadership after they made that deal. If she does, then her statement means little. I've asked her staff
Trump and Republicans refuse to fight for American families, but I refuse to give up on them.
I simply cannot vote to do nothing to help protect them from Trump’s vindictive efforts in exchange for a vague promise from the least trustworthy Republican party in our nation’s history.

So far, two of the three major Democratic US Senate candidates have commented on the alleged pending Senate deal. Both Juliana Stratton and Robin Kelly don't like it. Nothing yet out of RajaForIL but I've reached out

Durbin is a YES on this deal: “At Democrats’ urging, today’s bill is not the same one we’ve voted down 14 times. Republicans finally woke up and realized their Groundhog Day needed to end. This bill is not perfect, but it takes important steps to reduce their shutdown’s hurt.”

HT to @dansuitor.bsky.social; the DOJ indictment against Clase and Ortiz has been unsealed. Not only were they rigging pitches for outside bettors based on Ball/Strike and pitch speed over/unders; they were sometimes betting on their own rigged pitches.

Similarly, the feds keep representing to the Court that everyone has their ID visible, but they don't. Every time we see a video, there is no ID.
I know Judge Ellis can only do so much, but I'm not sure this TRO gets us where we need to go.
