That's absurd. So, according to MIT, almost 20M people are vastly underemployed in our economy and can be replaced by a computer program. The economy, then, will become incredibly productive for having fired these people.

So long as dissent isn't tolerated and the economy around Moscow/St. Petersburg remains functional Putin likely has years left before the implosion happens.
But when it happens the economy will be devastated, unless he gets the Donbas without having to fight for it.
