If your child dies from some infectious disease that used to be eradicated ... you know whom to blame.

Am I being cruel?

I don't think so.

To your point, despite the Federal Government being closed for most of this fiscal year, public debt outstanding has risen by more than $723B since Oct. 1. Much more, actually, since there have been large auctions lately.

Where is this money going?

IOW...it would be folly to ease in Dec.

She might be too busy gloating about a family deportation.

As fascists do. 🙃

Isaac Chotiner, obviously.

Assuming no continuation of those Health Care tax credits, poverty counts, correctly measured, will jump by millions in January.

Tragic.

And all to help Oligarchs get richer.

That's absurd. So, according to MIT, almost 20M people are vastly underemployed in our economy and can be replaced by a computer program. The economy, then, will become incredibly productive for having fired these people.

Only if they get "raptured" away.

Was Musk lying or is this entirely reflective of his version of humor?

I'd bet on the latter.

I bet he laughs his ass off at every repeat of the same joke.

And all his staff laugh too...

At some point the #GOP will realize that #Trump is now actively trying to destroy them for their vote on the #Epstein files.

He knows the GOP will lose "like a dog" in 2026 if they don't pass Health Care tax credits.

He wants them to lose.

Trump’s perilous path on health care
Trump appeared ready to roll out a health care proposal to address Obamacare subsidies, but the W.H.’s decision to pause underscores how difficult it’ll be.

A paper that should be read during the next Congress WHILE RFK Jr. listens.

Thanks for this. A powerful reminder.

That and getting invited to more Martha's Vineyard parties than Dershowitz while the invasion was ongoing.

A man who had to fake his own humanity in Britain at the time, while literally saving the nation later on, mind you.

Only to run into their version of MAGA thereafter.

Tragic in so many senses.

So long as dissent isn't tolerated and the economy around Moscow/St. Petersburg remains functional Putin likely has years left before the implosion happens.

But when it happens the economy will be devastated, unless he gets the Donbas without having to fight for it.

Credit ratings of a large % of the population deteriorated substantially over the past year, student debt changes being the largest but not only factor.

The transmission mechanism for monetary policy to boost the real economy is much lower than normal right now.

VF should send Nuzzi to interview him right away.

Don't sell him in combination with Trump and the health care crushing/SNAP cutting GOP short.

Remove 10-20mil from health insurance and food, scare many millions from getting flu n Cpvid shots and who knows what will emerge from those vectors.
