🎸(1/2) CAPE GLOAM VIGNETTE #7: KILL THE GUITAR! 💥
Cover page! Marty holds a guitar and is hesitating before his next strum. His magic star light shines from his chest. The title says "Cape Gloam Vignette #7: Kill The Guitar!" Pages 1 & 2. Marty and piers are cuddling on the couch, but neither have happy expressions. Sticks, entering from a doorway to another room, says: "Are you excited Marty? Open mic is tonight!!". Marty replies, hand on his face, "I'm sure you don't need me to say how I'm feeling." In a seperate panel, Piers reassures him, "Your debut is going to go great. You've got nothing to worry about." Pages 3 & 4. Sticks leans over the couch and looks down at the two of them, "Its okay to be nervous." A series of panels on the right page feature the three of them. First is Piers, who says "Maybe you should play your song for us? Practice playing for an audience?" Next is marty, who pouts silently, considering the idea. Sticks helps, saying, "Oh yeah! I've read your lyrics, but I haven't heard you sing them!" Marty listens to the idea, reaching for his guitar, which is on the other side of the couch. Page 5 & 6. His lyrics go: "Trying to say something resonant / Plucking on paper lines / like they're strings / you tell me I've got it / but I listen, and where is it?"

SKETCHBOOK AUTOPSY 🦮

A dog never means it. It is an innocent thing– It just wants to be happy.
