the reason you can't turn off retweets on bluesky is they want this place to be a political cesspool. I find this unfortunate.

What are some good people to follow for someone trying to make their way to bluesky and who doesn't want to stew in politics rage all day?

I'm seeing a lot of use of the word "Israeli" as some kind of disqualifying adjective from folks on the left and I'm not sure whether that's technically antisemitism, but it's very ugly and I'm against it. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
