Just read 110 special session, workshop and short course descriptions for #ESA2024. There's something for everyone and a lot to be excited about. But that was a lot of reading.

A map from my student Ashley Agatep uses remote sensing data from NASA's ECOSTRESS mission to show the hottest neighborhoods in SF during this fall's heat dome. She made this map as part of a class in just a few hours with open source data and software. Amazing what the students can do these days...
