Long Pose session today inspired two different approaches to the same model. One of which took a wonderful suggestion from Zoe to add the magenta stripe. Thanks Zoe!

Today’s open studio fun was in drifting even further from realistic figure painting. I do spend about ten minute working from the model, but increasingly I’m letting every brush stroke help me continue the long journey through perfectionism into pure inspiration #art

Portland peeps: do any of you know what mistake I made that landed my cell number on all the political campaign lists? I’m getting hammered by federal, state and local campaign text farms - I never voluntarily signed up for this constant stream of funding pleas, and my support seems abused.
