I’m now realizing that Jimmy Eat World’s “Bleed American” came out within two weeks of The Strokes’ “Is This It” in 2001.
For some reason those are two completely distinct time periods in my brain.
For the record, “Bleed American” absolutely destroys “Is This It”. Not even in the same ballpark.

I do not know the lyrics of “The Monster Mash” anymore - there is only “The Monster Fuck”.
Really hard for me to not ruin it for the girls when they listen to the sanitized version.
