I'm extremely fortunate to have witnessed such a beautiful bird in Chicago. Snowy owls (búho nival) rarely come this far south from the Arctic.

Saw two Piping Plovers (Chorlito Silbador) in Montrose Harbor, Chicago for the first time last weekend. Saw them right before the incident with Ferris. Not sure who this is in this clip. I wanna say Bean or El. RIP Ferris.
