Literally at no point in 2020 was Biden president. He was inaugurated in January 2021.

It really has just never occurred to these people that senior leadership believes in it because they don't actually know the details of what their workers do, and also are very used to being surrounded by sycophants.
So the inaccuracies and yes-man nature of AI is totally invisible to them.

Unfortunately it is the same pattern I saw in the last few years of living in the states.
People on the left didn't take the idea of democracy ending seriously and ignored a lot of red flags.
Canada isn't at "pretending coups didn't happen" territory but I do see a lot of the same attitudes.

As an autistic guy with a Colombian born wife who just fled the US to Canada...it's hard not to think about.
Will the US actually invade? Will Canada fall to the same forces as the US did and go after minority groups? Will AI take all of our jobs and turn the world into lawlessness?
