⚕️ Huge thanks to our keynote Dr. Lindsay McAlpine for an inspiring talk on Long COVID & neuroimmunology, and to our career & MD/PhD panelists for real, generous advice. Most of all, shout-out to every postgrad who asked bold questions, presented beautiful posters, and made new connections.

🏛 As YPGA Vice President - Public Relations, and a proud member of the committee, it was extra special to help host; and to present my own poster on "Sex Specific Effects of Asparagine in Colorectal Cancer". 🧪

We’re exploring how metabolic differences drive sex/race-specific vulnerabilities in colorectal cancer.
And why would this matter? 🔬

• Tumor metabolism is a moving target, metabolomics could be a pressure point
• Sex & race-based differences remain under-investigated. We aim to change that.

🎉 New chapter: I’ve officially joined Dr. Sajid Khan’s lab at Yale!

After months of waiting, stress, and navigating one of the toughest NIH funding climates in recent memory, I’m beyond proud (and honestly relieved) to finally begin this next chapter in cancer research. 🧬

I presented my work on optimizing core techniques and workflows for DIA-MS proteomics sample prep. From phospho/glycopeptide enrichment to in-solution/in-gel digestion, protein quantification and C18 desalting, every step counts when precision and reproducibility are the goal. 🧪
